Welcome to Realising Designs, a Design Agency with lots of #creativity and a fresh approach to design. We pride ourselves in our work and over the years have developed skills in understanding people’s ideas and turning them into final products – be it websites, business cards, logo’s or anything else requiring design.
My name is James (@jmmonty
) and I am the owner of Realising Designs, a web design company formed in early 2005. How did I find design? Not quite directly, but it was always calling. I grew up in an ‘arty’ family, with my Dad working as a toy and product designer & developer for Hornby Hobbies, who taught me to draw early on. I then took a detour after school and became an ACCA Qualified Accountant (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), were I worked as a Senior Project Accountant in Ashford. Our high degree of business and design knowledge, allows us a unique position to work with small businesses. Certainly, in such turbulent economic times, a strong business strategy is essential to succeed.
Currently we have worked with Gyms, Authors, Bands, Small and Medium Businesses, Comics and many more – all of which have been great and varied. We have also co-worked on various projects with Design Agencies in Canterbury, Cambridge and London.

2009 also greets the arrival of the 3 Trails Challenge – 610 miles, 24 days and 3 National Trails to raise money for Scope. The route we are planning runs from Dover (Kent) to Sennen Cove (Penzance, Cornwall) and includes the length of the stunning North Downs Way, South Downs Way and the South West Coastal Path as far as Penzance. In April it is hoped to complete leg 1 from Dover to Farnham (Nr. Guildford, Surrey) with daily targets of 25-30 miles. Visit the 3 Trails Website
