This week I downloaded the Terragen 2 demo (TG2) after recently completing a seperate job using 3D. This is an incredible tool and can produce entire procedural planets down to highly detailed scenes. The graphic above shows 2 small renders I made in minutes and below is a video released by the software makers, Planetside:
