As you may know, our Managing Director, James is running 1000km in 2010 to raise money for the Stella Rogers Appeal. We are exceptionally grateful to the Kentish Gazette for the support and following article.
James Montgomery (Managing Director of Realising Designs) will be clocking in some miles over 2010, raising funds for the Stella Rogers appeal. At just 17 months, Stella was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer known as Neuroblastoma MYC-N amplified (high risk). An expensive antibody therapy only available in the USA, costing a massive £250,000 upwards, could increase her chances of survival to 80%. The aim is to run 1000km over 2010, using a GPS mobile software to keep track of the runs, so please sponsor if you can via our Just Giving page: www.justgiving.com/James-Montgomery-1000k.
Here is the logo we created for a new venture named BuzzComic.com. They are currently developing the site and accepting pre-registrations. We can’t wait to see the site live as it sounds great. You can take a look at signup.buzzcomic.com.
We all know the sinking feeling after sending an email with a “see the attached”, especially if important such as to prospective employers or an important client. If you use Thunderbird, then worry no longer and install the free extension ‘Attachment Reminder’… you can get it here from Mozilla
We are now proud sponsors of the BA Racing team, a champion winning European drag racing team. We look forward to working with them and are working away at a brand new website to promote the team. We also wish them the best of luck at this weekends FIA Main Event at the Santa Pod Speedway.
We all have our own preference to programs and file types are no different. If your sent a file that you can’t open, before reaching out to install any software we definitely recommend a visit to media-convert.com. This great site features a vast list of supported file types which can be converted free and on-line, advanced features and easy methods of either downloading the file or sending a link to others. Just to mention it again, it’s free too!
Once again, I have been looking into the wonderful Terragen 2. Below are some recent trials using real world DEM (Digital Elevation Model) data of Yosmite National Park and the Grand Canyon. I’m sure I am not alone in the frustration at the lack of reliable tutorials and guides, with lots of broken links and half finished articles. My brain aches from too much time playing around with the node network and custom functions, but overall was fairly pleased with these recent efforts.
