Applying your VAT Rate change to your e-ComCart

With the Chancellor reducing the VAT rate from 17.5% to 15% from the 1st December 2008 until 1st January 2010, you may be wanting to update your e-ComCart. To apply the new rate, please login to your online Control Panel and follow these step-by-step instructions:

  1. Select the domain which includes e-ComCart
  2. Select from the left menu select Scripts & e-Commerce
  3. From the drop down menu select e-ComCart
  4. Select Configuration
  5. Select Payment from the top menu bar
  6. There you will see the Tax Rate which you can change manually
  7. Finally select Next then Save
